What was announced
Toll Brothers announced on Oct. 28, 2026 that its newest Orlando-area community, Regency at Lake Hills, is coming soon to Howey-in-the-Hills. The builder describes it as a luxury 55+ active-adult community in Lake County.
Buyers will see three collections of home designs, ranging from 1,600 to more than 3,300 square feet, with open-concept floor plans and options for personalization.
The community is designed to be golf cart-friendly and low-maintenance. Residents will have direct access to Lake Harris, and a golf course at Mission Resort + Club sits just across the street.
A dedicated Lifestyle Director will plan social events and programs.
A new Publix grocery store is planned next to the community, and medical centers are nearby.
On pricing and timing, homes are expected to start in the mid-$400,000s, with sales anticipated to begin in summer 2027.
What it means for you
If you're relocating from out of state, this adds an option in inland Central Florida. It offers lake access and golf nearby without a coastal location. Sales are still many months away, so it suits buyers who plan ahead and don't need to move right away. Homes aren't on the market yet, and prices and details could change before sales begin. If you're interested, ask to join the builder's interest list. Compare the monthly costs, including HOA dues and any community development district fees, with other 55+ communities you're considering. Visit in person if you can. A "coming soon" announcement is not a finished neighborhood, so look at the site, the surrounding roads and the planned shopping before you commit.
