Stuart: 400 homes for sale this week

For the period of October 23, 2026 to October 30, 2026, there were 400 homes for sale in Stuart. That is up from 386 homes in the prior period. Of those, 72 homes were under contract, compared with 71 the period before, so the number under contract is nearly unchanged. The median asking price was $429,000, up from $425,000 in the prior period. The average asking price was $692,278, compared with $683,989 previously. The average sits well above the median, which tells us that a number of higher-priced listings pull the average up. The median is usually the better guide to what a typical listing looks like right now. The median asking price per square foot was $274, up from $271 in the prior period. Asking prices rose slightly across all three price measures this week. All of these prices are asking (list) prices for homes currently on the market. They are what sellers are requesting, not what homes have sold for. Overall, the week shows a few more homes on the market, about the same number under contract, and asking prices a little higher than the week before. One week is a short window, so a small change in either direction doesn't say much about where the market is headed.
